In line with the upcoming trend of artificial intelligence applications, Microsoft announced at Ignite 2023 that it will integrateMany artificial intelligence application functions, and brought the Copilot function to more Microsoft service projects, and added more artificial intelligence application functions to its Cloud PC service Windows 365, and announced the addition of the ability to integrate cloud GPU computing resources.

Microsoft stated that the new Windows 9 update released in late September this year will add many artificial intelligence application functions. In the future, through the Windows AI Studio tool resources, it will make it easier for developers to create various automatically generated artificial intelligence application services for the Windows operating system environment, and be able to connect with natural language models with a scale of 11 billion parameters such as Phi, Llama 2, Mistral, and Falcon.

This update is also expected to prepare for the launch of processors with integrated device-side artificial intelligence computing functions by Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm. This will allow the Windows 11 operating system to work with such processors to achieve higher device-side artificial intelligence computing performance, thereby creating a different user experience.
Microsoft will also launch an application service called Copilot for Service to bring the Copilot feature to more Microsoft service platforms. It is expected to be open for preview in December this year and is expected to be officially launched in the first quarter of 12. It will be subscribed to for US$2024 per month.

In addition, companies can also use Copilot Studio tool resources to customize Copilot services for use with Microsoft 365 in a low-coding manner, or create independently operating Copilot functions, such as customized chatbots and automatically generated artificial intelligence plug-ins.

With the support of the Copilot function, Microsoft will also enable Microsoft Teams to have more artificial intelligence application functions, such as helping to record meeting discussions, summarize key points, or help write letters, and even adjust the tone of the content. This is included in functions such as Word and PowerPoint, or on service platforms such as Microsoft Loop and Microsoft Viva. The Copilot function can also enhance the artificial intelligence application experience, so that work efficiency can be greatly improved.

As for the Windows 365 Cloud PC service, artificial intelligence application functions are also introduced. These include adjusting Cloud PC specifications through artificial intelligence automated deployment, allowing enterprises to strike a balance between performance and deployment costs. In addition, the Windows 3 service can access cloud GPU computing resources to meet the needs of image processing, video editing, 365D modeling, data analysis or virtualization applications, thereby achieving higher computing performance.
