Microsoft begins testing Windows 11 Switch, a feature that allows users to quickly switch between Windows 365 environments on their devices and in the cloud.

The Windows 365 Switch function mainly allows users to quickly switch between the actual Windows 11 environment in use and the virtualized Windows 11 environment pre-deployed in the cloud, allowing users to securely connect to the enterprise work environment with their personal devices without having to change the existing device usage mode or having to use two devices to meet different usage needs.

To use the Windows 365 Switch feature, in addition to joining the Windows Insider Program testing program, you must also activate the Windows 365 Cloud PC service and download and install the latest version of the Windows 365 App (version 1.3.177.0 or later) for use.

It will take some time to prepare to enable the Windows 365 Switch function for the first time. After the connection is completed, it can be used faster and allows users to switch between devices and cloud environments at will.

In addition to the Windows 365 Switch function, Microsoft also announced last year the Windows 365 Boot function that allows users to log in to cloud-connected PCs directly through networked devices, as well as the Windows 365 Offline function that can operate offline even without network connection resources, thereby expanding the deployment and usage flexibility of the Windows 11 operating system.
