Microsoft earlier announced its GitHub Copilot serviceFully integrated agents automation application tools, will be able to assist programmers to complete coding tasks independently, thereby improving program development efficiency.
The GitHub Copilot service, which integrates agents for automated application tools, is currently available for testing in preview form. It will be able to automatically iterate and update code content, automatically identify errors and vulnerabilities, and then automatically fix them. This will reduce the time cost of programmers who previously had to spend a lot of time reviewing code content, and also make code writing more rigorous.
In addition, Microsoft also announced the official launch of the Copilot Edits feature, which can handle multiple coding contents simultaneously, interact through spoken commands, and provide suggestions for coding content. In addition to being compatible with Microsoft Visual Studio coding, it now also supports Google's recently launched Gemini 2.0 Flash artificial intelligence model.
Microsoft also unveiled a proxy service codenamed "Project Padawan," which corresponds to software functions on the GitHub platform. It will be able to accept user instructions and perform related tasks in a fully automated manner. It can also help users complete complex coding tasks, thereby improving overall coding efficiency.
Other updates include the addition of computer vision, which can recognize screenshots, photos, charts and other image content uploaded by users, allowing the proxy service to generate corresponding coding content, operating interfaces, etc., and can also provide users with subsequent editing suggestions through coding analysis.
