MicrosoftAnnounce, will join OpenAI'sSora video generation technology, but it is currently only available on the mobile version of Bing services.
Sora's video generation technology was originally only available to OpenAI's paid users, but this integration into the mobile version of Bing service is the first time it has been made free of charge.
Although it is provided for free, it still has its limitations. The free range is limited to producing 10 videos, and you can only wait for a maximum of three videos to be generated at a time. After that, you must spend 100 Microsoft Rewards points to produce a video.
Microsoft Rewards points can be earned by using the Bing search service. This collaboration with OpenAI can also be seen as one of Microsoft's means of increasing the usage rate of Bing search services by leveraging Sora's video generation technology.
In addition, users can choose to download and save the generated videos, or share them on online social platforms. The generated videos will be retained on Microsoft services for up to 90 days. At the same time, the length of the generated video content cannot be adjusted. Currently, only 9:16 vertical format videos can be generated, but Microsoft plans to add 16:9 horizontal video format in the future.
