Micron has announced the Crucial P2, the industry's fastest consumer-grade M.2230 4 PCIe Gen310 NVMe PCIe SSD, accelerating access efficiency and expanding storage capacity for gaming consoles, ultra-thin laptops, and mini PCs.
The Crucial P310 offers a maximum storage capacity of 2TB, with a read speed of 7100 MB/s and a write speed of 6000 MB/s. It also has the characteristics of small size and low power consumption.
In other aspects, the Crucial P310 supports random read speeds of up to 100 million IOPS and lower power consumption, thereby extending device usage time. It can also meet data-intensive access needs and is also backward compatible with PCIe Gen4 devices.
It uses the M.2 2230 specification size and can be directly used for game consoles such as Valve Steam Deck and ASUS ROG Ally. It can also be used for Microsoft Surface or specific Dell thin and light laptops, and can be installed and upgraded in a short time.
The Crucial P310 will be available through designated e-commerce platforms, resellers, and global channels, and comes with a five-year warranty.
