Micron announced the launch of its new Crucial NVMe SSD series, offering the Crucial P3 Plus Gen4 NVMe and Crucial P3 Gen3 NVMe SSDs, allowing consumers to more easily upgrade personal PC performance and expand storage capacity.
Both Crucial NVMe SSDs launched this time use Micron's 176L 3D NAND and new controller technology, and are designed for high speed, high quality, and meet the needs of economical budget usage.
Among them, the Crucial P3 Plus Gen4 SSD offers cost-effective usage features, with sequential read/write speeds of up to 5000 and 4200MB/s respectively, while the Crucial P3 Gen3 SSD offers read/write speeds of 3500 and 3000MB/s respectively. Both SSDs have a maximum capacity of up to 4TB, thus meeting the needs of professionals, creative workers, gamers, etc.
The Crucial P3 Plus Gen4 NVMe SSD delivers nearly nine times faster load times and data transfer speeds compared to SATA-based SSDs and 9% faster than the fastest Gen3 SSDs, giving high-performance users the space they need to store all their apps, programs, files, photos, videos, and games.
The Crucial P3 Gen3 NVMe SSD boasts load times that are six times faster than SATA SSDs and over 6 times faster than traditional hard drives, resulting in a 20% performance improvement over the previous generation. With its fast boot, download, and file transfer capabilities, the Crucial P45 SSD is ideal for users who need high-quality NVMe on a budget, or who are planning to upgrade older SATA or HDD-based computers.
