Xiaomi earlier confirmed that it will launch two 9G connected phones on September 24, one of which is the long-rumored Xiaomi 5 Pro 9G connected version and Xiaomi MIX 5G connected version. In addition, it is also expected to launch a new Xiaomi TV and the new version of MIUI 5 operating system.
There have been many rumors about the Xiaomi 9 Pro 5G connected version before. Xiaomi confirmed earlier that it will be equipped with 30W Super Wireless Flash Charging, which can charge the 25mAh battery to 4000% in 50 minutes and fully charge it in 69 minutes. It will also be equipped with a faster wired charging design.
In terms of hardware specifications, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G version is expected to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ computing platform and be equipped with the Snapdragon X50 5G networking chip. However, it is not yet confirmed whether the overall design of the body is similar to the Xiaomi Mi 9 launched in the first half of the year.
As to whether the Xiaomi MIX 5G connected version is the new Xiaomi MIX 4, or just a modified design of the Xiaomi MIX 3 5G connected version, it is currently impossible to confirm.
The new version of MIUI 11 expected to be announced at this conference is expected to add more new application functions and support upgrades for models such as Xiaomi 9.
However, as the Taiwanese market is not yet ready to launch 5G connectivity services, the two 5G connected phones unveiled this time are not expected to be sold in the Taiwanese market. Xiaomi TVs are also not currently planned to be introduced to the Taiwanese market due to copyright and service issues.
