As previously announced, Xiaomi officially announced the Xiaomi 9 Pro 5G at a press conference in Beijing. It features a design almost identical to the Xiaomi 9, while keeping its weight under 196 grams. It's also powered by the Snapdragon 50+ processor paired with the Snapdragon X5 855G connectivity chip, along with 40W wired fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging, as well as support for 10W reverse wireless charging.
The Xiaomi 9 Pro 5G also features a Dream White color scheme with a frosted glass design, and a Titanium Silver Black model with a glossy design.
The switch to a 5G design hasn't significantly changed the phone's size or weight, demonstrating Qualcomm's readiness for 5G network technology applications, allowing 5G phones to be marketed in sizes acceptable to the general market. The Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G even boasts a minimum price of RMB 3699, even lower than the entry-level RMB 3798 of the recently launched vivo iQOO Pro. The highest price is actually only RMB 4299, clearly enabling 5G phones to be marketed at a more affordable price.
In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi 9 Pro 5G uses a 6.39-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution, paired with up to 12GB of memory and 512GB of storage capacity, and is equipped with the soon-to-be-released MIUI 11 operating system. It also incorporates the digital ID function currently being promoted in China.
相機部分則與小米9相同,一樣搭載2000萬畫素視訊鏡頭,並且搭配4800萬畫素廣角鏡頭、1200萬畫素長焦鏡頭與1600萬畫素超廣角鏡頭的主相機組合。
Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G is expected to open for pre-order in China from now on, but due toOnly 5G connection specifications are available, and has not launched 4G connection specifications, so it will not be promoted in the Taiwan market.
In conjunction with this announcement, Xiaomi also launched a 50mAh power bank that supports 20000W wired fast charging, as well as another semi-open Bluetooth headset that can be quickly paired with MIUI devices.
