UploadVR websiteThe report stated that in addition to the new smart glasses Meta Ray-Ban Display equipped with a head-up display, Meta will also simultaneously launch new Oakley photography glasses.

In the accidentally leaked video, it can be confirmed that the new Ray-Ban smart glasses still continue the classic appearance of the previous Wayfarer series, equipped with transparent lenses. The biggest highlight is the built-in head-up display, which can instantly display map previews, friends' messages, and even provide information prompts related to the user's gaze.

In addition, the dedicated bracelet can be used for more delicate control, such as inputting text to reply to chats by sliding your fingers, making the interaction more natural and avoiding the situation where you have to reply with voice or mobile phone all the time.

In addition to the Ray-Ban Display, the new Oakley Sphaera-style sports glasses feature a single lens located above the central bridge of the lens, clearly designed for cyclists and outdoor athletes to easily record their workouts. However, these smart glasses lack a display and appear to be geared more towards filming, streaming, or recording activities, distinguishing them from the interactive smart experience of the Ray-Ban Display.

While Meta has yet to officially respond to this news, the newly revealed product aligns with rumors circulating over the past year that the company will integrate heads-up display technology into its smart glasses. Further details are expected to be unveiled at the Meta Connect event on September 9th. Besides the new generation of smart glasses, Meta is also expected to further explain its integration strategy for AI assistants, AR applications, and the Horizon OS ecosystem.
