Meta cited data indicating that the proportion of marketing industry personnel using AI technology will increase by 1.6 times in the next three years, including optimizing advertising content through AI or machine learning, automating promotions, and automatically generating content through AI to achieve the best message delivery efficiency.

Meta-generative AI advertising tools are gradually being launched around the world, emphasizing that short videos have become a new advertising tool.

At the Marketing Summit held today (10/5), Meta announced the launch of a new automatically generated AI advertising tool to help advertising marketers improve content production efficiency.

"AI is at the core of Meta's products," said Pan Xianguo, General Manager of Meta Taiwan and Hong Kong. "Meta will leverage AI to implement three key development areas in marketing: infrastructure, model building, and tool and product development. Meta looks forward to collaborating with all Taiwanese businesses and brands to leverage AI to create closer connections between brands and consumers, unlocking unlimited potential in marketing!"

Meta announced that it will launch an automatically generated AI ad creation function for advertising creative workers in "Ad Manager" for the first time, and it is expected to be launched globally next year.

The initial main functions include:

• Background generation:Create multiple backgrounds to complement the advertiser's product images and customize creative content for different audiences.

• Image Extensions:By seamlessly adjusting existing assets to different aspect ratios for different layouts (such as news feeds or short films), advertisers can reuse creative assets with less time and resources.

• Text changes:Generate multiple ad copy versions based on the advertiser's original text, highlighting the selling points of products and services, and providing multiple copy options to make the ad suitable for different audiences. However, this feature is currently limited to automatically generating English content copy.

Meta said that these features will help advertising creatives save at least 5 hours per week on creating materials, while also alleviating the problem of creative fatigue and thus improving efficiency and effectiveness.

Automation optimizes efficiency, and short videos remain king

Meta's AI marketing tools now leverage machine learning to help brands optimize marketing campaign results, delivering targeted advertising content to the most engaged audiences at the right time. This improves marketers' time and cost efficiency, while consumers receive promotional content tailored to their specific needs, making interactions between brands and consumers more meaningful.

In addition, Meta also emphasized that short videos have become the most commonly used promotional tool for brands, and can reach a large number of potential consumers through Meta's services, becoming the platform with the highest return on brand value investment.

Meta also encourages companies to continue collaborating with creators to expand their reach through diverse promotional channels. This is especially true given the high acceptance and fondness of creators among younger consumers. Using creators to strengthen promotional efforts can almost surpass the effectiveness of brand self-promotion.
