Oakley Meta Vanguard focuses more on sports users
Continuing the previous smart glasses collaboration with Oakley, the newly launched Oakley Meta Vanguard focuses more on sports users and further enhances its waterproof capabilities, making it compatible with more outdoor or water sports through the IP67 waterproof specification.
In addition, the Oakley Meta Vanguard adopts a more sporty design and offers four different refractive color mirror designs. As for battery life, when fully charged, it can play music continuously for up to 6 hours, and under normal circumstances it can correspond to about 9 hours of battery life. It is claimed that it can easily meet the needs of marathons or outdoor jogging. When paired with the charging box, it can correspond to up to 36 hours of usage.
Meta has also equipped this pair of glasses with customizable action buttons, allowing users to set them to quickly launch the camera shutter, call Meta AI, or play a specified playlist. It has also cooperated with Garmin and Strava to import relevant sports data and integrate it into the video content shot by the glasses.
In terms of suggested retail price, the Oakley Meta Vanguard will be sold at a suggested retail price of US$499 and is expected to officially enter the market on October 10.
