At the Connect event, Meta announced the launch of Meta AI, a digital assistant service that will be used across its Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp services. It also announced "Emu," an automatic image generation technology that allows users to create new stickers in chats using text descriptions or style photos. Leveraging Meta's Llama 2 large-scale natural language model, Meta also announced plans to build more digital assistants for different fields, and will even allow businesses and developers to create their own personalized digital assistants.

Meta AI is also built on Meta's Llama 2 large-scale natural language model, and can be called at any time on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp services. It can handle information queries, answer questions and other needs, and can even combine with Microsoft Bing Search to provide the latest information content.
Meta AI is still in its early testing phase, and some responses may not reflect current situations, but Meta expects to make interactive results more realistic in the coming months.
The automatically generated image technology announced this time, called "Emu" (Expressive media universe), can generate new sticker content through text descriptions, and can also present photos in different styles, thereby increasing the fun of users interacting on social platforms.
This feature is expected to be released in October this year, but will first be available in specific English-speaking regions.
