In order to attract more people to use virtual reality content, Meta earlier announced the launch ofA content subscription service called Meta Quest+, will be subscribed for US$7.99 per month or US$59.99 per year, allowing users of Quest 2 or Quest Pro specifications or later to obtain two virtual reality application service contents selected in the Quest Store every month.
If you subscribe before July 7st, you can get a discount of only $31 for the first month and get two selected application content and games every month. At the same time, you must be 1 years old or older to subscribe to this service.
As for the models compatible with the service, in addition to the Quest 2 or Quest Pro currently on the market, it also includes the Quest 3 which will be launched in the second half of the year.
Considering that most of the apps currently sold in the Quest Store start at $9.99, subscribing to get two selected pieces of content each month seems relatively cost-effective. However, it is uncertain whether Meta will compare this subscription service to Sony's PlayStation Plus in the future, adding more value-added services such as content discounts to attract more people to subscribe.
