Meizu previously launched Flyme Auto, a smart cockpit system for cars, which is now used in Geely Auto's Lynk & Co 08 model. The MEIZU DreamCar MX, announced for release next year, will also be equipped with Flyme Auto, with users able to customize details such as exterior paint, interior, and in-car system themes.
Shen Ziyu stated that the car will leverage Meizu's extensive experience in design, interior design, and software, and will be sold through the Meizu Star Group's distribution channels. Shen also emphasized Meizu Star's deep understanding of the automotive industry, emphasizing its competitive advantage in the current trend of integrating car and mobile phone sales. Furthermore, through its open platform and modular design, the Flyme Auto in-car system will be available to car brands at a lower cost.
Combining the previously announced Meizu 21 mobile phone, augmented reality glasses device MYVU, and MEIZU DreamCar MX vehicle products, Meizu stated that it will expand its business layout and expects to bring its smartphone business back to the top five in China's high-end mobile phone market within the next three years. At the same time, it will also expand its sales channels and is expected to continue to expand its product lineup in the future.
