With the theme of "Homecoming", Meizu held a new product launch conference in Zhuhai today (9/15), launching the new flagship mobile phone Meizu 22 series. Also unveiled at the event were AI shooting glasses StarV Snap, new PΛNDΛER trendy accessories, and major updates to the Flyme AIOS 2 operating system and Flyme Auto 2 car platform.

Imaging specifications are a major highlight of the Meizu 22. The entire device is equipped with four 5000-megapixel lenses, the first to introduce the Sony IMX882 photosensitive element, a triple periscope design telephoto lens, and 13 new image algorithm optimizations, film filters, and AI restoration functions. Even in low-light scenes, it can capture clear details, making the shooting more artistic.
The StarV Snap, an AI-powered photography glasses, debuted simultaneously. Powered by the Snapdragon AR1 platform specifically designed for smart glasses, it supports 720P long-duration recording and 1080P EIS shooting. Shooting and sharing can be initiated directly from the side buttons on the frames. Weighing only 39g, the glasses have partnered with Alipay and Ant Financial to enable QR code payment. Furthermore, the StarV Snap supports instant translation, AI meeting minutes generation, and can be used as a Bluetooth headset, making it a versatile digital assistant for young users.
In terms of software, Flyme AIOS 2 brings AI features such as Alive Design's personalized desktop, Small Window Mode 5.0, a new game mode, and task robots. The gallery has added "Depth of Field Puzzle", "AI Filters", and "Memory Videos", greatly improving the efficiency of image creation and management.
In addition, Flyme Auto 2 continues to expand smart cockpit scenarios, adding functions such as AI mind reading, child protection, and AI park, and supports more car models to bring a smarter driving experience.
The Meizu 22 series is available in three colors: Meizu White, Boundless Black, and Love Pink, and in five different storage configurations. The suggested retail price starts at RMB 2999. A "Meizu 22 Homecoming: China Flagship Limited Edition" gift box is also available, paying tribute to the guardians of the seas. Meizu is also partnering with e-commerce platforms such as JD.com, Tmall, and Douyin to offer first-time buyers benefits such as 12 interest-free installments, unlimited battery replacements, and an extended warranty.
