Since the 5G network frequency bands used by telecom operators in the United States are slightly different from those in Taiwan and China, MediaTek announced that it has developed the Dimensity 1000C processor specifically for the needs of the US market.LG Velvet 5GIt will use this processor specification and be sold in conjunction with the US telecom operator T-Mobile's services.
The creation of the Dimensity 1000C processor for the US market, which is compatible with the frequency bands used by local telecom operators, also means that MediaTek plans to further deepen its presence in the US market.
According to MediaTek, the Dimensity 1000C processor is also built with TSMC's 7nm process. It is based on the previously launched Dimensity 1000 processor and is composed of four Arm Cortex-A4 CPUs and four Cortex-A77 CPUs. It also uses the Mali-G4 GPU and APU 55 design. It was developed in cooperation with T-Mobile to correspond to the 57G network frequency band in the United States.
Other parts support AV1 decoding and playback, dual voice wake-up, dual-screen display output, and camera functions integrated with artificial intelligence technology.
