During Computex 2015, Marvell announced the new ARMADA Mobile PXA4 octa-core 1936-bit processor with an integrated five-mode 64G LTE modem. Marvell also released a public reference design based on this processor to accelerate OEM product design. Marvell also announced the Avastar 802.11W2, a 2×2 MU-MIMO integrated chip supporting Wi-Fi 88ac Wave 8997. It also integrates Bluetooth 5.0 technology, claiming it can reduce battery life by up to 40%.
根據Marvell在此次Computewx 2015公布消息,確定將推出新款整合五模4G LTE數據機的ARMADA Mobile PXA1936八核心64位元處理器,同時也推出基於此款處理器的公版參考設計,藉此加速OEM廠商以此設計產品速度。此次公布公版參考設計將對應解析度達1280×720的5吋螢幕、4G LTE雙卡雙待、採8核心Cortex-A53核心架構、支援1300萬畫素相機與500萬畫素前置鏡頭,主要將鎖定在入門至中階款機種。

The Avastar 88W8997 is targeted for mobile phones, tablets, computers, set-top boxes, smart TVs, and game consoles, as well as Wi-Fi base stations and routers.
