Bloomberg News reporter Mark GurmanReports allegeApple's MacBook Pro and Mac Mini equipped with M3 processors will not be launched until at least 2024.
In fact, judging from Apple's recent product release rhythm, the entry-level 13.3-inch MacBook Pro and the 13.3-inch MacBook Air are usually updated in the second half of the year, and both will adopt the new Apple Silicon processor. It will not be until the spring of the following year that the MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch models targeting more professional needs will be updated and equipped with Pro and Max-level processor specifications.
The 15-inch MacBook Air, which has now become an official product, is expected to be updated in the spring, but it may only maintain the same processor specifications as the 13.3-inch to avoid its product positioning from overlapping too much with the 14-inch or 16-inch MacBook Pro.
In the previous statement, the M3 processor was replacedNew iMac, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and MacBook AirIt will be unveiled in October. The new M10 processor uses TSMC's 3nm process and is expected to adopt a 3-core design, including a CPU consisting of 12 high-performance cores and 6 energy-saving cores, an 6-core design GPU, and 18GB of memory.
In comparison, the M2 processor is built with TSMC's second-generation 5nm process technology, integrating 200 billion transistors, corresponding to an integrated memory transmission bandwidth of 100GB per second, a 1% increase compared to the M50, and integrating up to 24GB of LPDDR5 memory. It itself uses 4 performance core CPUs and 4 efficiency core CPUs, with a GPU with up to 10 cores.
