The suggested retail price starts from US$5100 (approximately NT$16.5).
The hardware specifications use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, paired with a 6.78-inch, 1.5K resolution and 120Hz frame refresh rate screen, 12GB of memory, and 512GB or 1TB of storage capacity. The battery adopts a 5100mAh design and supports 65W wired fast charging. The operating system is customized based on Android 13.
The camera part uses a 1600-megapixel video lens, a 5000-megapixel wide-angle lens designed with a Sony IMX800 sensor, a 5000-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 800-megapixel telephoto lens.
As for the functions, it combines Web 3.0 application services and corresponds to decentralized computing through blockchain technology, thereby using cryptocurrencies, NFTs or decentralized services, and ensures the privacy and security of personal data through TEE+SE encryption chips, point-to-point encrypted VBOX cloud storage services, and blockchain private key backup technology.
Metavertu 2 also boasts enhanced privacy protection through artificial intelligence technology. It also presents Vertu's renowned personal assistant service through a virtual avatar, allowing users to communicate directly with it. The service is integrated with OpenAI's ChatGPT and, in the Chinese market, Baidu's Wenxin Yiyan model. Conversation history can even be saved or deleted after the conversation ends.
In addition to continuously launching new luxury mobile phones, Vertu also launched its Metawatch H1 series of smart watches, with a suggested retail price starting at US$2600. In addition, it also cooperated with Hamlet Design to launch the Metawatch Hamlet Design model, which will be pre-ordered at US$49.
