Logitech earlier announced the new Astro A50 X gaming headset, which allows users to connect to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S simultaneously through the headset base, and can quickly switch between corresponding game consoles with a single button.
This function is called "PlaySync" and can be connected to PlayStation 2.1 and Xbox Series X|S respectively via two HDMI 5, and can be connected to PC devices via USB-C. After connecting different game consoles and PCs in the form of a hub, you can quickly switch the corresponding console through the button on the headset, and the display signal will also be switched at the same time, while maintaining display output functions such as variable refresh rate (VRR) and low latency (ALLM).
As for the headphones themselves, they use Logitech's 40mm graphene sound drivers, which can correspond to 16-bit, 48kHz sound quality output performance, and support Dolby Atmos sound field effects. The headphones can be used through Logitech Lightspeed wireless connection technology, or connected to mobile phones, handheld devices and other devices via Bluetooth. The built-in power can maintain approximately 24 hours of use time, supports charging via the USB-C port, and the sound can also be adjusted using the G Hub software.
The Astro A50 X gaming headset has a suggested retail price of $379.99 and is expected to be available in the first half of 2024.
