Logitech recently showcased the world's first business collaboration demonstration center in the Taiwanese market. Today (August 8), it announced the launch of the Sight artificial intelligence desktop camera and the new Rally Bar Huddle full-featured video conferencing system in Taiwan, emphasizing that the combination with its keyboard and mouse series and other products will create a more efficient office experience.
The Logitech Sight AI desktop camera is equipped with dual 4K camera lenses and can capture images with a 315-degree field of view. It is also equipped with 7 sets of beamforming microphones with a maximum pickup range of up to 2.3 meters. It can also automatically capture the voices of participants speaking in the conference room through software calculations. The Sight AI desktop camera lens and the Rally Bar series video conferencing system lens operating simultaneously in the conference room automatically capture the best picture, allowing online meetings to have a closer face-to-face interactive experience.
Logitech emphasizes that the Sight artificial intelligence desktop camera is mainly used as an auxiliary to the conference system. The main shooting images will still be captured by the Rally Bar series video conferencing system lens. The Sight artificial intelligence desktop camera is used to assist in shooting angles that are more difficult to shoot in the conference room, such as the host and main speaker standing in front of the screen or video conferencing system, or the facial expressions of participants farther away in the conference room. In this way, people who join the meeting remotely can also interpret emotions through facial expressions as if they were face to face.
The Sight AI desktop camera can capture the speeches of all participants in the conference room simultaneously, but the image capture will focus on the last participant who spoke. At the same time, it is designed to work with software such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom, and will only show the images of the last four speaking participants at most, as well as the main image captured by the Rally Bar series video conferencing system lens.
In addition, the Sight artificial intelligence desktop camera is made of 50% recycled plastic in the pearl white color scheme, and 59% in the graphite gray color scheme. It also uses FSC forest certified packaging design to reduce the carbon footprint of the product and also reduce the carbon emissions impact generated by companies when introducing such products.
The new Rally Bar Huddle full-featured video conferencing system is designed for small meeting rooms accommodating up to six people. It also features an AI-powered auto-framing function and a lens hood to ensure privacy and security after the meeting ends and the connection is closed. The magnetic design makes the cover easier to remove and can be replaced with a customized cover based on business needs or a mesh version that is easier to clean based on environmental requirements.
In addition to being easy to mount on a wall, table, or screen, the Rally Bar Huddle full-featured video conferencing system is also the first product in the series to be made from 42% recycled plastic and carbon-neutral materials, and features FSC-certified packaging.
