Logitech earlier announced that it would acquire open source live streaming software manufacturer Streamlabs for US$8900 million to expand its live streaming-related business.
Streamlabs' live streaming application software, built in the form of a streaming service, is currently available on online platforms including Twitch, YouTube, Mixer, and Facebook, and has accumulated a user base of over 1500 million, 70% of which are Twitch users.
Based on an open source architecture design, Streamlabs emphasizes that its live streaming software interface is easier to use and can be applied to different online live streaming services.
Prior to this, Logitech had already entered the online live broadcast market through its video cameras, microphones and other equipment products, and even acquiredBlue MicrophonesMicrophone brands strengthen the development of the live broadcast market.
