LG earlier announced that it will showcase its new SIGNATURE series of smart home appliances during CES 2025, and the exhibition will be themed "Live Beyond", boasting the integration of advanced technology and exquisite design to provide enhanced usability, wireless connectivity and a luxurious smart home experience.
The updated SIGNATURE series of smart appliances include the second-generation SIGNATURE InstaView French-door refrigerator equipped with a T-OLED penetrating display panel, the SIGNATURE InstaView remote microwave oven, a slide-in double-oven induction cooktop, a SIGNATURE dishwasher, a SIGNATURE washing machine and a dryer, and the SIGNATURE washing machine and dryer are also launched.
The SIGNATURE InstaView French-style side-by-side refrigerator is equipped with a 36-inch transparent display panel, allowing users to check the contents without opening the door. The panel can also display relevant information or serve as a music playback interface. Ingredients can be managed through the ThinQ networking function and a built-in camera. Image recognition and the time ingredients were placed in the refrigerator can be used to determine inventory levels or consumption times, making it easier for users to manage ingredients.
The SIGNATURE remote microwave oven and slide-in double-oven induction cooktop further enhance food cooking capabilities. The former is equipped with three built-in cameras for real-time cooking monitoring and time-lapse photography, thereby recording the process of food from oven to table. It is also equipped with a 27-inch transparent display panel that can display cooking progress and touch functions. It also supports ThinQ and networking capabilities, and has a built-in speaker function, allowing users to play music or function prompts during the cooking process. It is also compatible with Matter and Thread connection protocols and can be used with induction cooktops.
As for the new SIGNATURE dishwasher, it can be matched with the cabinet system panel, and the pop-up handle allows the dishwasher panel to be more integrated with the cabinet system. It is equipped with LG QuadWash Pro cleaning technology and Dynamic Heat Dry clothing drying technology.
SIGNATURE washers and dryers, as well as 29-inch models, utilize LG Direct Drive (AI DD) 2.0 cleaning technology for more precise fabric care and inverter heat pump technology for efficient, low-energy high-temperature drying. Each model also features a 7-inch touchscreen for easy user operation.
At CES 2025, LG is collaborating with Italian furniture brand Molteni&C to combine its products with Molteni&C's sophisticated designs. LG will also showcase its vision for the convenience and user experience of smart homes through the LG ThinQ ON AI home hub.
