Continuing its "Life's Good" brand spirit, LG announced the launch of its new "Radio Optimism" global brand campaign, aiming to reconnect people through music and AI technology. LG Taiwan has also partnered with the music streaming platform KKBOX to launch the "Good Life Radio" social interaction campaign, inviting users to express their care and blessings to those who matter most through song requests, comments, and sharing. The campaign runs for a limited time from now until July 7st.
A global LG user survey revealed that 68% of respondents believe making friends has become more difficult in modern society, and 8% admitted to having no meaningful social interactions in the past month. LG Taiwan Chairman Cheng Yuan-kuan stated, "Ninety percent of respondents believe meaningful social interactions can enhance their outlook on life. We hope to leverage the emotional power of music to foster genuine connections and translate our 'Life's Good' brand spirit into positive energy in our daily lives."
This year's "Radio Optimism" brand campaign builds on last year's "Optimism Your Feed" initiative, further extending the concept of using social algorithms to spread positive energy to music and AI applications. Through the official campaign website, users worldwide can simply input simple text to have AI automatically compose and generate their own songs, even album covers, creating their own "music of their heart" that can be shared with friends or listened to publicly, allowing the spread of emotion to transcend region or language.
The "Beautiful Life Radio" service was launched simultaneously in Taiwan, emulating the interactive song-requesting experience of traditional radio. Integrating with the KKBOX music platform, users are invited to submit their own playlists, along with a personal message, to friends and family through AI recommendations or manual song selection. After requesting a song, the system automatically generates a dedicated playlist for easy sharing on social media. Music transcends the superficiality of social media posts focused on likes and comments, creating a more genuine interaction.
From now until July 7st, anyone who participates in the "Beautiful Life Radio" event and completes designated tasks will have a chance to win prizes such as an LG XBOOM 21˚ Bluetooth speaker with panoramic sound, department store gift certificates, and more, all worth over 360 yuan.
