In late August last year, LG showcased a mobile living space called Bon Voyage in Seoul, South Korea. The version exhibited at the following CES 8 has an upgraded design and is integrated into a living space that is more suitable for being "carried" out in the form of a trailer. It is obviously more in line with the camping trend that has been popular in recent years.
LG followsFirst edition of Bon VoyageThe design was readjusted based on the feedback received, and the space utilization and mobility were further improved. Various furniture and appliances including beds, refrigerators, electric stoves, water purifiers, stylers, shoe care equipment, etc. were placed in the space of 3.8 meters long, 2 meters wide, and 2.2 meters high, making it easier for users to maintain a convenient life outdoors.
In addition, compared to the first version of the design, the new Bon Voyage design is easier to move by towing a vehicle or place in the parking lot of a general building, making it easier for users to move it to outdoor camping.
It is currently impossible to confirm whether the new version of Bon Voyage will become a commercial product like the smart cabin. Perhaps LG will release more information later.
LG Labs also launched a capsule coffee machine called DUOBO at the exhibition. It boasts the ability to extract two different flavors of coffee capsules. Its design is inspired by outer space and features a space pet character named CUBO for promotional purposes. It is expected to be launched in the U.S. market through crowdfunding.
