CES 2026 warm-up kicks off! To capture the party and outdoor entertainment market, LG announced the launch of its new XBOOM series of Bluetooth speakers. This time, not only are the hardware specifications upgraded, but LG has also brought in will.i.am, the key figure of the Black Eyed Peas, as the "Experimental Architect," personally involved in the product development, design, and brand marketing.
This new series of products will be officially unveiled at CES next week, and what they all have in common is the incorporation of a large amount of AI technology. In addition to automatically detecting the playback content and the spatial environment to adjust the EQ sound field, even the RGB ambient lighting effects on the device will automatically change with the rhythm of the music through AI algorithms.
XBOOM Stage 501: Hold your own concert anytime, anywhere
LG has launched the XBOOM Stage 501, targeting party and karaoke enthusiasts. This monster speaker boasts a powerful 220W output, featuring dual woofers and a full-range driver. Its unique pentagonal design allows it to operate whether placed upright or horizontally.
The most interesting feature is its AI function designed specifically for karaoke, which claims to be able to remove vocals from "almost all songs" (Vocal Remover) and even adjust the pitch. This means you don't need to specifically find a backing track; you can just open any popular YouTube song and start singing. It also boasts a 25-hour battery life and supports plug-in use.
XBOOM Blast: A modern portable speaker with unparalleled battery life.
If you have serious battery anxiety, then the XBOOM Blast is definitely the top choice. It adopts a similar carrying design to traditional Boomboxes, and has a built-in high-capacity 99Wh battery, which the company claims can provide up to 35 hours of continuous playback. The device is equipped with shock-absorbing strips around the body and a side handle, clearly designed for long outdoor parties.
XBOOM Mini & Rock: Compactness and Military Standard Options
To address the need for portability, LG has also launched two smaller products:
• XBOOM Mini:It is compact in size and comes with a lanyard for easy hanging. The bottom of the device even has a built-in tripod locking hole for easy fixation on a tripod for playback. The battery life is about 10 hours.
• XBOOM Rock:This is an upgraded version of the previous XG2, with an irregularly shaped rock design. Although slightly larger than the Mini model, it can still be held in one hand. It emphasizes durability, having passed seven military-grade tests, making it suitable for use in harsh outdoor environments. The battery life remains at 10 hours.
LG has not yet announced the specific prices of these four products, and they are expected to be officially launched in 2026.
