LG announcedExpand its xboom series of audio products, launched two new true wireless earphones, xboom Buds Plus and xboom Buds Lite, which are expected to be launched this month, giving users more choices for music and call needs.
The higher-end xbom Buds Plus feature an adaptive EQ function that dynamically adjusts the sound field based on the wearing position of the earbuds, preventing audio quality degradation caused by changes in earbud fit or posture. The earbuds support active noise cancellation (ANC) and are equipped with three microphones to ensure clear call reception, making them ideal for those who frequently use them in noisy environments.
Buds Plus charging box is more built-inUV sterilization functionOfficially, the earbuds claim to remove up to 99.9% of surface bacteria and double as a Bluetooth transmitter, making them convenient for use with in-flight entertainment systems. The earbuds offer approximately 10 hours of playback per charge, extending that to 30 hours with the charging case. They also support wireless charging.
As for the entry-level xbom Buds Lite, while offering simplified features, they still retain active noise cancellation and four customizable EQ modes, allowing users to adjust the sound performance to their personal preferences. Their battery life surpasses the Buds Plus, reaching up to 11.5 hours of playback on a single charge, extending to 35 hours with the charging case. These are ideal for extended use, and LG includes multiple sets of ear tips in different sizes to ensure a comfortable fit.
LG has not yet announced the suggested retail price of the two earphones, but considering the previous price of xboom Buds was approximately US$109, xboom Buds Plus is expected to be priced higher, while xboom Buds Lite may be priced lower than the standard version, providing a more affordable option.
