Lenovo held the Innovation World 2025 event during IFA 2025 and unveiled the ThinkBook VertiFlex Concept, a concept device that can smoothly switch between vertical and horizontal screen usage modes through AI. It also announced the launch of new products such as the second-generation Legion Go game console.
The ThinkBook VertiFlex Concept features a 14-inch rotating screen that uses AI to smoothly switch between vertical and horizontal modes, allowing users to view content in different ways. Another concept laptop stand, the Smart Motion Concept, integrates a camera, microphone, and speaker, supporting facial tracking, gestures, and voice control. Its ergonomic design enhances comfort during extended work.
Lenovo also announced the expansion of its ThinkPad P series AI workstations, including the P16 Gen 3 and P1 Gen 8. These new models fully support AI development, engineering simulation, and creative design, meeting the diverse needs of everyone from data scientists to student creators. In conjunction with the "Copilot+ PC" update, Lenovo is also offering a new Galaxy White color scheme for the ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition.
As for displays and peripherals, the new ThinkVision P40WD-40 ultra-wide curved monitor and Thunderbolt 5 Smart Dock 7500 further enhance the flexibility of modern offices. Additionally, the Magic Bay HUD, a meeting collaboration tool, will be available with select ThinkBook models, providing real-time subtitles and note-taking capabilities.
Lenovo also simultaneously showcased its AI Fast Start service and Intel AI Assistant Builder to help companies in publishing, healthcare, and finance quickly deploy privacy-first AI solutions.
AI brings new entertainment and creative experiences
Models launched for the consumer market include the second-generation Legion Go gaming handheld, which is equipped with the AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor, an OLED screen and a 74Whr battery. It also features an upgraded TrueStrike controller and is paired with Legion Glasses Gen 2, allowing players to experience a more immersive three-dimensional gaming experience through a 3D Mode software update.
At the same time, Lenovo also launched the new Legion Pro 7 laptop, LOQ Tower desktop and three Legion Pro OLED monitors, which combine high-speed frame refresh rate and PureSight technology, and are designed for high-end players and professional creators.
In terms of content creation, Lenovo released the FlickLift intelligent image editing tool, which can quickly remove backgrounds, sharpen objects, and simplify image processing processes across applications. It is expected to be integrated into the Yoga and IdeaPad series laptops.
As for tablets, the new Yoga Tab features a 3.2K PureSight Pro screen, AI drawing capabilities, and Tab Pen Pro support, making it designed for professional creators. The Idea Tab Plus, meanwhile, is designed for portability and features built-in AI features like Google Circle to Search and Gemini, making learning and entertainment devices more relevant to the mobile generation.
