In addition to announcingMultiple PCs integrating AI functionsAndNew mobile phonesIn addition, Lenovo continues to explore the possibilities of wearable devices, unveiling a smart glasses concept design called "Lenovo AI Glasses Concept" at the Tecch World event held at CES 2026. This device emphasizes deep integration with the user's workflow and changes the way users interact with the environment through lightweight design and AI assistance.
It looks very similar to ordinary glasses and weighs only 45 grams.
Compared to the bulky design of many previous AR glasses, the Lenovo AI Glasses Concept takes an extremely lightweight approach. Its design closely resembles standard eyeglasses, similar to Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses. However, it weighs only about 45 grams, meaning it's less burdensome to wear.
To maintain its lightweight design and long battery life, these glasses utilize wireless connectivity, offloading most of the heavy computational tasks to a wirelessly connected smart device (such as a smartphone or PC). Official data shows that its battery life can reach up to 8 hours, sufficient for a standard full-day workday.
Importing to the Qira AI platform: Instant translation and notification summaries
In terms of software applications, this concept glasses deeply integrates the technologies developed by Lenovo and Motorola.Qira, the unified AI platform.
Leveraging Qira's computing power, the Lenovo AI Glasses Concept offers sub-millisecond real-time translation and intelligent image recognition. Furthermore, addressing the information overload problem faced by modern people, the glasses also feature a built-in AI function called "Catch Me Up," which automatically aggregates notifications from various devices and generates concise summaries, allowing users to grasp important information without frequently checking their phones.
Built-in teleprompter and music playback functions
Beyond passively receiving information, these glasses also offer practical productivity tools. Lenovo specifically showcased its built-in teleprompter software, which is highly appealing to content creators, speakers, or business professionals who need to give presentations.
In terms of operation, the glasses support touch and voice commands, and have built-in speakers, allowing them to be used as open-back headphones for music playback.
It is currently only a conceptual design.
Since the Lenovo AI Glasses Concept is currently positioned as a "concept design," Lenovo has not yet revealed specific mass production plans or suggested retail prices. However, based on Lenovo's past practice of showcasing concept devices at CES, this product is more about demonstrating its technological layout and vision for "personal AI wearables," and may not necessarily enter the consumer market directly in its current form.
