Windows Report websiteAccording to sources, Lenovo will also follow suit and launch a game handheld product similar to Steam Deck and ROG Ally built on the Windows operating system. It will also integrate a detachable Joy-Con controller design similar to the Nintendo Switch. The product name may be Legion Go.
As for the hardware specifications, it's likely to use AMD's Ryzen 7040HS series laptop processor, codenamed "Phoenix." It's unclear whether any adjustments will be made to accommodate handheld gaming requirements. Regarding the detachable controllers, while similar to the Joy-Con controllers, they're likely to be different in practical use, with noticeable differences in button layout and even a touchpad.
The operating system may be Windows 11, the screen size may be around 8 inches, and the back of the body is expected to be equipped with a stand design, providing a micro SD memory card to expand storage capacity, and a USB-C connection for data transmission and charging.
It is not yet possible to confirm when Lenovo plans to announce this product, but it may be at the upcoming Gamescom 2023 or IFA 9, which is expected to debut in September.
