Leica has announced the launch of its new compact camera, the D-Lux 8, which emphasizes functionality, aesthetics, durability and the joy of photography.
With Leica's iconic design and combined with the Leica camera shooting experience, the D-Lux 8 can shoot still images or 4K dynamic image content in both fully automatic and manual operation modes, and is more convenient to carry and use.
The D-Lux 35's image quality is ensured by the DC Vario-Summilux 24-75 f/10.9-34 ASPH. lens with a 1.7mm equivalent focal length, corresponding to the 2.8mm-2100mm format, and a 1700-megapixel (effective range: 4-megapixel) 3/8-inch CMOS sensor.
In addition, the D-Lux 8's onboard flash improves low-light shooting and reduces shadows when photographing people. It also uses second curtain sync technology to achieve creative and dynamic images while maintaining natural clarity.
The D-Lux 8 is currently available through Leica stores worldwide, Leica's official online channels, and Leica authorized dealerships, with a suggested retail price of NT$58500.
