Dr. Jian Lifeng, who recently announced his retirement from Google Taiwan, earlier confirmed that he will join the Appier board of directors as an independent director and the iKala board of directors as a director.
Appier and iKala earlier announced that Dr. Lifeng Jian will join their boards of directors as an independent director and a director, respectively. He is expected to use his expertise in artificial intelligence, data retrieval and processing, natural language processing and other fields to help drive business development and related important decision-making.
Both Appier and iKala currently focus on combining artificial intelligence technology applications with big data analysis. Therefore, we expect to have deeper cooperation with Dr. Jian Lifeng to promote more diverse data applications and artificial intelligence technology development.
Prior to this, Dr. Jian Lifeng served as Managing Director of Google Taiwan for 14 years, during which time he was responsible for the operational development and business planning of Google Taiwan, and led the Chrome team. He also continued to serve as a mentor for many startups or youth entrepreneurship programs, using his business insights, thorough thinking and accurate judgment to help many growing companies achieve success.
