KONAMI earlier announced the launch of its own esports brand "ARESPEAR" in Japan. The name is a combination of Ares, the god of war in ancient Greek mythology, and the English word "Spear", which interprets the image and performance of its esports products.
The ARESPEAR brand esports products will include desktops, gaming keyboards, and headset accessories. The desktop features a unique hole-punch design, with the side panel featuring the image of the god of war, Ares. The ARESPEAR C300 and ARESPEAR C700 are available.
There are two versions, with the highest configuration equipped with an Intel Core i7-9700 processor, 16GB of memory and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER graphics card. The storage capacity uses a 512GB M.2 M NVMe SSD and a 1TB HDD.
The two gaming keyboards launched this time, the ARESPEAR K100F and ARESPEAR K100L, both feature capacitive contactless key switches, differing only in the inclusion of independent number keys on the right side. The ARESPEAR H100 headphones, meanwhile, are designed for extended wear and provide ample sound output.
In addition to continuing to promote gaming products, KONAMI has chosen to enter the e-sports hardware market, which is expected to be in order to gain more development opportunities and will also enter the e-sports market layout.
