The products displayed by American bathroom brand Kohler during CES 2020 include the new showerhead speaker MOXIE that is integrated with Amazon Alexa digital assistant service.
Following the launch of the NUMI 2.0 smart toilet equipped with Alexa digital assistant service last year, Kohler's new showerhead speaker MOXIE displayed at CES 2020 also integrates Alexa digital assistant service, has IP67 waterproof rating, and is tuned in cooperation with Harman Kardon.
MOXIE can be installed by magnetically attaching to the shower head, and can be used as a normal speaker when not showering. It can also be charged wirelessly, and the built-in battery life can correspond to about 6-7 hours of continuous playback time. Compared with the previous version, the new version of MOXIE is obviously much more convenient, and can also integrate multiple smart applications through Alexa, and even connect various IoT devices.
Kohler said that the reason for creating this product is that more and more people like to sing in the shower, so this product will allow more people to enjoy the shower process more. It also allows users to switch songs through voice control, or find the music they need to listen to. However, the speaker itself is still equipped with physical buttons, allowing users to operate more intuitively.
MOXIE is expected to go on sale for $159, while a pair will cost $229.
