Kingston has announced the launch of its first portable solid-state drive with a "dual interface" design. The biggest feature of this new product is that it is equipped with both USB Type-A and Type-C interfaces and adopts a lightweight form similar to a flash drive. It is designed to be plug-and-play without the need for additional cables, solving the pain point of users having to carry adapters or cables to transfer data between different devices.

Free yourself from cables and seamlessly switch between devices.

The core design of this dual-interface portable SSD is to meet the needs of modern people's multi-device, high-efficiency mobile lifestyle. With its built-in dual connectors, users can easily switch between laptops and desktops (Type-A) and mobile devices such as phones and tablets (Type-C), handling everything from transferring work files and backing up travel photos to freeing up phone storage.

Read and write speeds reach 1050/950 MB/s, with capacities up to 2TB.

In terms of performance, this hard drive supports the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, with official data showing a maximum read speed of 1050MB/s and a write speed of 950MB/s. Compared to traditional flash drives, its transfer efficiency is significantly improved, making it more suitable for handling large files such as high-resolution photos and 4K videos.

In terms of capacity, this dual-interface portable SSD offers three options: 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB, which can meet different levels of storage needs.

Durable metal casing design, five-year warranty

In terms of appearance, the hard drive features a sturdy metal casing with plastic material, measuring only 71.85 x 21.1 x 8.6mm and weighing as little as 13 grams, making it easy to carry.

Kingston also provides a 5-year limited product warranty and free technical support for this product, which is widely compatible with major operating systems such as Windows 11, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS, Android, and iOS/iPadOS.
