Kingston Technology Corporation has expanded its NV3 series PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD product line with the addition of a new member, adding support for the M.2 2230 form factor. This new member can be used in thin and light laptops, game consoles and other mobile devices, providing a high-speed, low-power NVMe storage upgrade solution for space-constrained devices.
The newly launched M.2 2230 specification NV3 series PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD adopts a single-sided streamlined design, measuring only 22×30 mm, with a capacity of up to 2TB. It can be used with game consoles such as Steam Deck and ROG Ally, as well as devices that support the M.2 2230 specification, such as the Microsoft Surface series.
The PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD utilizes the PCIe Gen4 x4 transmission specification, boasting maximum read speeds of 6000MB/s and write speeds of 5000MB/s, significantly improving data access efficiency and enabling smoother multitasking for gaming, creative projects, and office applications.
