Earlier reports indicated that Huawei plansResume launching new phones with 5G connectivity before the end of the yearHowever, since Huawei is not yet fully prepared, the release of its flagship Mate 60 series mobile phone may be postponed.
Relevant news indicates that Huawei has not yet decided on the processor solution for the Mate 60 series of mobile phones. Therefore, if it wants to launch this flagship phone in September this year, it may only be able to continue to use the Snapdragon 9+ Gen 8 1G version processor that Qualcomm cooperated with Huawei last year, or it may cooperate with Qualcomm to change to the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 with 8G connection specifications.
If Huawei plans to launch 5G connected mobile phone products as previously rumored, it may choose to postpone the launch of the Mate 60 series of mobile phones, or choose to return to the 5G connected market with mid-range and entry-level mobile phone products first.
Huawei has not yet responded to the rumors.
As for previous rumors, the Mate 60 series will adopt a more advanced camera function design. The Mate 60 Pro will use a 6.76-inch screen and may introduce a dynamic island interface design similar to the iPhone 14 Pro. It will be equipped with a 4800-megapixel wide-angle camera lens, a 1300-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 4800-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. It has a built-in 5100mAh battery capacity and supports 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
