althoughThis year's WWDC 2023The event will resume in person, but the keynote speech will still be presented in a pre-recorded video format. Related sources indicate that Apple is expected to adopt the same format for this fall's event, presenting the keynote speech in a pre-recorded video format, with attendees only allowed to play with the new devices up close during the hands-on period.
According to information obtained by Bloomberg News reporter Mark Gurman, Apple is expected to hold its fall event on September 9th, Pacific time (early morning of September 12th, Taiwan time). The event will then resume its physical format, but the content of the presentation will mainly be presented in pre-recorded videos. CEO Tim Cook and product managers will not take the stage one by one to introduce the new phones. All participants are expected to watch the pre-recorded videos on the Apple headquarters campus before being arranged to the experience area to actually play with the new phones.
Not that there was any doubt, but Sept 12 event is being prepared as an in-person launch. So recorded video + people watching at the Apple campus + hands on afterwards. Same as the iPhone 14. Here's what to expect https://t.co/mFZbdRMugD https://t.co/ljf0DW95zj

If nothing unexpected happens, Apple will still launch four different iPhone models this year, including the standard iPhone 4, the iPhone 15 Plus with an enlarged screen design, the iPhone 15 Pro with advanced hardware specifications, and the top-of-the-line iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Among them, Pro models and above may use the new A17 processor, while standard models may use the "upgraded" A16 processor. In addition, all models are expected to adopt the Dynamic Island interface design and will be replaced with the USB-C port specification. The iPhone 15 Pro Max may even use titanium metal to make the frame.
In addition to the iPhone 15 series, Apple is also expected to announce the new Apple Watch series 9 and will launch the second-generation Apple Watch Ultra. As for whether the AirPods series of headphone products will be updated, it is not yet confirmed.
However, in terms of product launch schedule, some iPhone 15 models may be delayed until October due to factors such as parts supply.
