At the AI Everywhere event held in New York, Intel announcedCore Ultra series laptop processors codenamed "Meteor Lake",as well as5th Generation Xeon Scalable Server Processor, codenamed "Emerald Rapids"Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger stated that artificial intelligence will become the main driving force of the global economy in the future. He also emphasized that Intel continues to develop technologies that can enhance enterprise computing and execution of artificial intelligence capabilities. The new Gaudi 3 artificial intelligence accelerator was also showcased at the event.
Pat Gelsinger explained that AI innovation will drive economic growth and will account for one-third of global GDP in the future. AI will be integrated into various computing platforms, including the cloud and edge devices, and a large amount of AI technology will be introduced. At the same time, automatically generated AI will become a more important development.
Intel currently enables AI computing capabilities through processors in the cloud, servers, edge devices, and even laptops, making AI technology applications more ubiquitous and connecting more application possibilities through an open ecosystem.
At the event, Pat Gelsinger also showcased the new Gaudi 3 artificial intelligence accelerator, which is expected to be officially launched in 2024. It will be able to accelerate the deep training of large-scale artificial intelligence models, reduce ownership costs, and promote the growth of automatically generated artificial intelligence technology applications.
