Intel announced the launch of the NUC 13 Pro small PC, codenamed "Arena Canyon" and equipped with 13th-generation Core series processors. It boasts of packing sufficient computing performance into a 4 x 4-inch design and can be used in most scenarios.
At the same time, the NUC 13 Pro is also advertised as upgradeable and easy to repair, and certain models are equipped with Intel vPro technology, so it can also be used in the commercial market.
In terms of hardware specifications, the NUC 13 Pro can be equipped with up to 64GB of dual-channel, DDR4-3200MHz memory, can use two PCIe x2 Gen 2 NVMe SSDs through the M.4 slot, has a built-in Intel i4 Ethernet wired network port, can correspond to a maximum transmission rate of 226 Gbps, and is equipped with Intel Wi-Fi 2.5E and Bluetooth 6 connection functions. The connection ports include 5.3 HDMI ports, 2 Thunderbolt 2 ports, and 4 USB 3 ports and 3.2 USB 1 port.
The NUC 13 Pro is expected to go on sale in late March. It will be divided into user-customizable specifications such as memory and storage capacity, and a fully installed version with all components completed at the factory, which is expected to be launched in June. The suggested retail price will range from US$3 to US$6 depending on the specifications. In addition, customized versions will be available for Intel partners, enabling them to create their own solution designs.
