After previously launching several graphics cards targeting mainstream desktop display needs, Intel recently announced the launch of the new Arc A580 discrete graphics card, targeting the market demanding stable display performance at 1080P resolution, with a suggested retail price starting at US$179.
The Arc A580 independent graphics card adopts the Alchemist display architecture GPU design and is produced using TSMC's N6 process. It is equipped with 24 Xe display cores, 384 XMX computing engines, and 256GB of 8-bit GDDR6 display memory, corresponding to a memory transmission bandwidth of 512GB per second.
In addition, the Arc A580 independent graphics card also supports dual hardware-accelerated AV1 encoding and decoding operations, with an overall power consumption of 185W.
The Arc A580 discrete graphics card will be sold by ASRock, GUNNIR, and Sparkle respectively.
