Intel 18A process technology has been emphasized many times recentlydevelop smoothly, and also declaresProcessor codenamed "Panther Lake"After it is launched in 2025, Intel also demonstrated the performance of the "Panther Lake" processor in a closed-door demonstration at Computex 2025.

However, the "Panther Lake" processor displayed by Intel on site is not the actual commercial version, so it is mainly demonstrated by executing video editing and artificial intelligence computing. It is also only used for reference design laptops produced by ODM companies including Foxconn, Compal, Wistron, and Inventec.
A test suite running on the "Panther Lake" processor was also demonstrated on site, which may also mean that Intel is currently very confident in the "Panther Lake" processor produced using the 18A process technology.
Intel has not yet announced the specific details of the "Panther Lake" processor, but it is expected to be the successor to "Lunar Lake" and have the same ultra-low power consumption characteristics as "Lunar Lake", but the performance is close to the "Arrow Lake" processor with a power consumption of 28W and the H series. It emphasizes better performance in 3D display and artificial intelligence computing, and integrates the next-generation Intel GPU design.

In addition, the "Panther Lake" processor will support LPDDR5 and DDR5 memory, but it is not expected to adopt a memory integration design like "Lunar Lake", which will allow ODM and OEM companies to match the memory modules of their choice.
As for Intel, the "Panther Lake" processor will enter mass production in the second half of 2025, and actual consumer application products will be announced and launched by OEMs in early 2026.
