To celebrate the upcoming Pride Month, Apple announced the new Apple Watch Pride Edition Sport Loop, exclusive watch faces, and corresponding iPhone and iPad wallpapers to support the global LGBTQ+ community. Apple also reiterated its continued commitment to providing substantial financial support to organizations serving the LGBTQ+ community.
11-color nylon yarn interwoven: The new Pride Edition sports watch bezel
The newly launched Pride Edition sports watch band boasts a visually striking design.
• Materials and craftsmanship:This watch band is woven from 11 different colors of nylon yarn. Apple uses a complex weaving technique to allow the different colors to blend and transition naturally, creating a rich sense of depth and dynamism on the surface of the band.
• Design concept:Apple says the joyful and vibrant full-spectrum color design reflects and showcases the unique identity and diversity that shapes the global LGBTQ+ community.
• Listing Information:The new Pride Edition Sport Band is available in 40mm, 42mm, and 46mm sizes, with a suggested retail price of US$49 (NT$1600 in Taiwan). Consumers can order now through Apple's website (apple.com) and the Apple Store app. Physical Apple Stores and authorized resellers are expected to begin shipping later this week.
Hardware and software integration: Pride Luminance surface with custom-designed tablecloths
In addition to the physical Apple Watch bands, Apple also launched a new digital watch face called "Pride Luminance" to perfectly echo the design language of the hardware.
• Double geometric pattern:The new dial uses dynamically refracting colors to celebrate the energy and spirit of the LGBTQ+ community and offers two geometric patterns to choose from: "radial" rays that perfectly align with the hour markers, and "vertical" colored stripes that directly echo the woven lines of the physical strap.
• High degree of customization:Users can have more color options to customize their Apple Watch face, as well as matching wallpapers for iPhone and iPad with fun, dynamic designs.
• system requirement:These new faces and wallpapers will only be available in the Faces and Wallpapers libraries after Apple releases subsequent operating system updates for watchOS 26.5, iOS 26.5, and iPadOS 26.5.
