IKEA announced earlierThree home sensing components, namely Parasoll, which can detect the switch status of doors and windows, and Vallhorn, a motion detection sensor element, and also includes Barding, a water leakage sensor.
The sensor components launched this time can be used with the previously launchedDIRIGERA central equipmentCompatible connections, and with a smaller design, Vallhorn is also compatible with older TRÅDFRI gateway accessories.
Both Parasoll and Vallhorn can be linked to IKEA smart bulbs. For example, if doors or windows are not closed properly, they can light up the bulbs to remind you. Or, when someone passes by, the bulbs can be automatically turned on to illuminate the door.
Users can customize the light color and brightness when the bulbs are linked, and can be linked with up to 10 IKEA smart bulbs.
The suggested retail price of Parasoll is 9.99 euros, the suggested retail price of Vallhorn is 7.99 euros, and the suggested retail price of Barding is 9.99 euros, but the price in the United States has not yet been announced. As for Vallhorn, it will be launched in January 2024, Parasoll is expected to enter the US market in April next year, and Barding will be officially sold in the US market in July next year.
