Developed by Swedish gaming company The Gang, the game is IKEA's first foray into the gaming market, aiming to bring real-life workplace scenarios online, in line with the company's philosophy of integrating work into everyday life.
According to IKEA, the job vacancies in this game will be open to the public from now on, and online interviews are expected to be conducted with the first round of selected candidates between June 6 and 14. However, only 18 employees are being recruited at present, and only residents of the UK or Ireland are eligible. The age must be over 10 years old, and the working mode remains fully flexible, that is, work can only be done online.
However, once hired, the staff's hourly wage will be calculated at £13.15 or €14.80 per hour, which is comparable to the actual hourly wage of IKEA's "Co-Workers". In addition, they can be promoted to different departments based on their personal skills, in accordance with actual work conditions.
