Taking advantage of Comoutex 2025, the consumer electronics and home appliance show IFA 2025, which will be held in Berlin, Germany in the second half of the year, will be held in Taiwan. Leif Lindner, President of IFA Berlin, will personally visit Taiwan to explain its transformation plan and emphasize that under the influence of current geopolitical policies and US tariffs, the new IFA exhibition will be able to help connect more business opportunities.

Leif Lindner said that in recent years, more and more technology companies have chosen to announce new products and technologies during the IFA exhibition. As the current benchmark consumer electronics show in Europe, this year it will incorporate more transformational elements and bring together exhibits from global technology companies.

At the same time, Leif Lindner also pointed out that Taiwan plays a key role in global technological innovation and is also an important driving force for global technology research and development, becoming an indispensable core stronghold in the global market.
Over the past few years, many Taiwanese brands have participated in the IFA exhibition and showcased the latest technologies in multiple core areas, including artificial intelligence, home entertainment, home appliances, smart home, communications and connectivity, audio technology, computers and e-sports, imaging and content creation, digital health and sports technology, and future mobile technology. Therefore, Leif Lindner also hopes to attract more Taiwanese companies to participate in this exhibition in the future.
In addition to deepening its partnership with Taiwan, IFA continues to foster meaningful international collaboration to jointly advance technological progress. Leif Lindner stated that Taiwan is a key global hub for technological innovation, and that IFA 2025 will further strengthen its collaboration with Taiwan, creating a platform where global brands, startups, and innovators can directly interact with consumers. The goal is to maintain IFA as a key annual global industry event, allowing more innovative ideas to be seen worldwide.
In addition, Leif Lindner also explained that last year's IFA 2024 saw a significant increase in global media exposure. At the same time, its visibility in Taiwanese media increased by more than 2023% compared to 590, with a potential reach of up to 8.77 million people. Therefore, it is expected that IFA 2025 will be able to attract global attention through greater exposure.

In this year's exhibition plan, Leif Lindner explained that the international B2B sourcing platform "IFA Global Markets" will return to the IFA exhibition area from September 9th to 7th. This will create a dedicated sourcing platform for own-brand manufacturing (OBM), contract manufacturing (OEM), and original design manufacturing (ODM), fostering business connections between manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. For Taiwanese exhibitors, the "Emerging Brands Zone" will continue to serve as a springboard for high-potential brands to enter the international market.
In addition, the IFA Retail Leaders Summit forum event, scheduled to take place on September 9, will invite representatives from the world's top consumer technology companies, senior decision-makers from international retail channels, industry analysts, and technology innovation leaders to gather in Berlin to discuss future retail trends.
