iCHEF announced the establishment of a service office in Kaohsiung, "Takao Chef," which will serve as a "progress laboratory" for iCHEF to provide local restaurants with services such as "matching, consultation, and advisory." It will also launch a DEI lecture for the catering industry, exploring new trends in the catering industry that are diverse, fair, and inclusive through online and offline methods with catering operators nationwide.
At the same time, iCHEF also announced its collaboration with the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism to assist it in planning food and beverage technology education by providing software support worth millions, thereby promoting food and beverage innovation through technological means.
iCHEF observes that Kaohsiung, with its background as a major port city, has always been a source of new ideas from all sides. iCHEF recently officially established the Kaohsiung "Progress Lab," which is expected to provide more direct and efficient services and technical assistance to approximately 1200 restaurant clients in the Greater Kaohsiung area. It will also be able to provide more personal business consulting and even manufacturer matchmaking, establishing closer cooperative relationships with clients in southern China.
"Whether it's Chef Deng's Kung Fu Cuisine, Yancheng Rice Cake City, or the one-Michelin-starred Cheng Sho, the creativity of iCHEF's Kaohsiung restaurants has always been a source of inspiration," said iCHEF co-founder Cheng Kaiyou. "By establishing the Progress Lab in Kaohsiung, we hope to harness this vibrant local energy and help the culinary industry across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan continue to explore new era advancements like DEI, ultimately making restaurant business a better place."
iCHEF Kaohsiung's "Progress Lab" will serve as a hub for innovation and information dissemination for the culinary industry, adding momentum to the local food and beverage economy. By supporting local restaurants, it will help elevate the overall quality and competitiveness of the culinary industry in Kaohsiung and surrounding areas, leveraging the vitality of Kaohsiung, a major port city, to drive industry advancement.
