IBM and Meta initiated the establishment ofArtificial Intelligence Alliance The AI Alliance is joined by more than 50 organizations including Intel, AMD, Sony, Softbank, Stability AI, Hugging Face, and together.ai.Become a founding member, will promote the development of open, secure and responsible artificial intelligence.
The Artificial Intelligence Alliance stated that as artificial intelligence rapidly advances, creates various development opportunities, and changes the way humans live, work, learn, and interact, it is necessary to use artificial intelligence in a way that prioritizes safety and diversity to ensure that artificial intelligence can be used more safely.
The organization that has joined as founding members also includes academic institutions such as Dartmouth College, the University of Tokyo, Keio University, New York University, and ETH Zurich. They will then develop artificial intelligence evaluation standards and related tool resources to assist in the development of better artificial intelligence systems.
Although Microsoft-invested OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and Amazon have not joined, these companies have recently jointly established a group calledFrontier Model Forum (Frontier Model Forum) to build safer and more responsible artificial intelligence computing models.
