Slightly upgraded Mate XTs Ultimate Design
The Mate XTs Ultimate Design continues the Z-shaped three-fold mechanism and is available in black and red, with additional white and purple options. It weighs 298 grams, is only 4.75mm thick when unfolded, and is 12.8mm thick when folded.
The screen is composed of a single flexible OLED display panel, which can be opened up to 1/3 (about 6.4 inches) or 2/3 (about 7.9 inches) as needed, and can be fully expanded to 10.5 inches. The resolution is 3184 x 2234, the display ratio is 16:11, and it supports 90Hz LTPO adaptive screen refresh rate. It also has a peak brightness of up to 1800 nits.
In terms of hardware, Huawei clearly stated that the Mate XTs Ultimate Design uses a Kirin 9020 processor, paired with 16GB of memory, and 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage capacities. It is also equipped with HarmonyOS 5, and its operating performance is improved by 36% compared to the previous generation model. The battery capacity is 5600mAh, supports 66W wired fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging, and has 7.5W wireless reverse charging.
In terms of imaging system, the Mate XTs Ultimate Design continues to be equipped with a 5000-megapixel RYYB main camera with ten-speed variable aperture, with a variable aperture range of f/1.4 to f/4.0 and OIS optical image stabilization function. The ultra-wide-angle lens has been upgraded to a 4000-megapixel RYYB sensor, and the telephoto lens adopts a 1200-megapixel RYYB periscope design, supporting 5.5x optical zoom. In addition, the camera system has also introduced Red Maple Primary Color technology, which is claimed to improve color reproduction by 120%.
Huawei has also added stylus operation to the new phone. The M-Pen3 stylus can be used for global annotation, voice input, locked screen shorthand and other functions. The stylus can also be used as a presentation laser pen when connected to a Huawei TV or monitor.
In addition, the Mate XTs Ultimate Design also supports satellite communications and improves compatibility with office and financial PC applications commonly used in the Chinese market, making the usage scenarios of this phone more closely aligned with professional and business needs.
In terms of price, Mate XTs Ultimate Design is available in three versions, with a suggested retail price starting from RMB 17999. Pre-orders are now open in the Chinese market.
MatePad Mini
The MatePad Mini, a "mobile tablet" launched simultaneously this time, is equipped with an 8.8-inch soft-light OLED display panel, has a body thickness of 5.1mm, weighs only 255 grams, and is available in four colors: black, white, red, and green. It supports side fingerprint recognition function, supports 5G calls and network functions, supports Wi-Fi 7, and certain models also support satellite communication functions.
