After the news, Huawei announced earlier that it will hold a new product launch event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on February 2, which also hinted that the Mate XT Ultimate will be sold in the global market.
Huawei has recently begun placing advertisements related to the Mate X6, a foldable phone unveiled last year, in prominent locations in major cities such as Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and Dubai, seemingly hinting that it will expand its strategy of resuming sales of its mobile phone products in the global market.
The Mate XT Ultimate triple-screen folding phone was previously only launched in the Chinese market. It may have the opportunity to be launched in international markets including Malaysia in the future, but the specific details will have to wait for Huawei to announce.

On the other hand, in terms of competition in the operating system platform ecosystem, although Huawei emphasizes that its HarmonyOS has become the third largest ecosystem in the mobile phone market, there is still a considerable gap compared to Apple's iOS and Google's Android platform. It is also difficult to say whether HarmonyOS can successfully attract support from users in the global market.
Samsung is also expected to launch a foldable phone this year.Add three-screen design, which will also increase the number of foldable screen phones updated this year to 4.
Samsung's foldable phone will also feature a dual-hinge design, allowing the screen to unfold to a 10-inch display. Whether the design will differ from Huawei's Mate XT remains unconfirmed. A release is expected at the Galaxy Unpacked event in the second half of this year, with production capacity estimated to be approximately 20 units this year.
